Scott Smith Roofing, Inc. was founded in 1986 by Scott G. Smith with approximately 10 employees to service the Marion County area. In early 1999 Scott Smith Roofing, Inc. and Wayne Smith Roofing merged together becoming one corporation. The merge joined Wayne Smith, Alicia Bain, and Scott Smith Jr. as family partners. We are proud to announce the opening of our new Leesburg branch location in 2002 to better serve the growing Lake County area. Scott Smith Roofing, Inc. now has approximately 65 employees and has grown into many phases of roofing.

Scott Smith Roofing, Inc. is a GAF Master Elite Residential Roofing Contractor, which only the top 2% of all roofing contractors even qualify to become a Master Elite Contractor. As a result, we have won the award for Training Excellence and Customer Protection Excellence. Scott Smith Roofing, Inc. is also an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor and a Certaineed Select Shingle Roofer.

Scott Smith Roofing, Inc. is a New Roof System installer in several subdivisions such as:

- DECCA Construction and Development at Oak Run since 1999 to present
- Pulte Homes at Del Webb’s Spruce Creek Communities since 1999 to present
- Oriole Homes at Stonecrest since 2000 to present
- The Villages since 2001 to present
- Oriole Homes at Cala Hills since 2003 to present
- Maronda Homes since 2003 to present

Commercial Roofing:

Scott Smith Roofing, Inc. is a certified applicator in commercial roofing for GAF Roof Systems, Owens Corning, Firestone, Bitec, John Mansville, Carlisle, and Tamko. In addition to the above Bituminous products Scott Smith Roofing, Inc. is certified with Durolast Roof System.

Each of the above companies have specific requirements for various roof systems and we at Scott Smith Roofing, Inc. have the knowledge and the manpower to meet these different requirements.
